I don't get it!!!

Aren't taxi drivers supposed to help ppl get from A to point B and get paid for it? Aren't they driving taxis? What kind of service are these people offering again?

I flagged down a cab yesterday to meet up my bestfriend in midvalley before we head to Amcorp Mall.

Read on the following comverstation exchanged between the driver and I.

Taxi stopped.

Ruz : I'd like to go to midvalley.
Taxi driver : I don't go there.I don't want.
Ruz : Ampark park station then.
Taxi driver : Ok. (with a stupid smirk on his face)

I hopped into the cab and thought about my route coz I felt like waking around the mall before I meet up with my bestfriend so I thought of going to Bangsar station ad hail another cab from there.

Ruz : Could you take me to bangsar let station instead?
Taxi driver : No. Be done with Ampang Park. I don't want to go to the oher area; jam. (the look on his face when he responded made me feel like giving him a tight slap but my hands are too clean to be placed on his face. =p )

I kept quiet and got off at Ampang Park station. And no, I didn't get to go to midvalley. =\

I really wonder :
- WHY can't he take me to somewhere I wanna go to?I'll be paying him bucks.Every km counts. Every second counts!what is his problem???
- If driving passenger sto the place they need to go to isn't the service u are providing, what is? Go to to your house and visit your grandma????!!!!?!?!?
- Who told him to be a taxi driver? I know I didn't. Do Malaysia a favour. Quit driving. Find a job you can sincerely do.

Thank you.

Stupid?Really?

If you are sensing that I am posting this out of disagreement. You couldn't be more right. :p I recently attended a so-called meeting and one of the speaker said something along this line.

"You cannot say "I don't know.I don't know means I am stupid."
To make it fair for the speaker, the next sentence was "You cannot not know anything. If you do not know, say you will find out."

Anyway, I'm still not happy with the first sentence. Here's my perspective.

It is good that you know what you do not know. It is great that you admit that you do not know something. *Rather than let ur ego do the acting.* The worst place anyone could be in is : To not know what they do not know. Raise your hand if you disagree! Til today, some of my colleagues are mimicking the sentence. LOL!

I am stressing here that it is ok to not know something and to admit that you do not know. =)
If you do not know something, ask. Keyword is ASK. =) IF you pretend to know something that you do not know, not only you will be in trouble but you might be affecting others who are working with you too. ;)

Reading vs Making Buckz

Many complained about work. Many stated that if they were given a choice to go back to school, they would. Many advised those who are still studying to enjoy school before they have to work. This made me come up with these questions.

Is working life that bad? Is schooling so great?

I had quite a number of friends asking me which one i prefer; school or work. Read on and you'll know my answer.

I LOVE GOING TO WORK! It is not that I don't like studying. I love studying too especially in uni. However, there are so many constraints compared to working. See, there are a lot of subjects taken in uni but i SWEAR to you, barely 5 is even used in the working world. Talking about university syllabus. *siiggghhhh* Back in uni, we do not have that much choices of which subjects to take as we are tied down with the program we enrolled in. Well, you can take the subjects you want but you'll be spending more time in uni and that would cost more money. :p Mmm...maybe it is the Bachelor/Degree level. I'll NEVER EVER do another in my life. I guess Degree/Bachelor is the worst level in studying; it drains students and make them hate studying.

Anyway, IF I'm given the opportunity (and of coz buckz) to study again, I wanna do all of the following (in priority order).
1. MBA
2. MIT (I would like to major on management...as in software management or quality assurance!)
3. Cert./Dip. in Culinary Arts (this would prepare me to cook edible stuff in the future and who knows...even open a Book Cafe ;) )
4. Cert./Dip in MassComm (odd but I like hosting!....*talk,blab,enthusiasm,smile,camera,people*)
5. Cert./Dip in Interior Designing ( this would help me make my lil crib heaven..not just for me but for my family in the future. )

Uni/College I've eyed on?
a. Carnegie Mellon!..I'll do MIT+MBA there!!!Gosh! *i wishhh*
b. Aberdeen!
c. Binary College.

I don't foresee a and b happening :( *Unless there will be some miracles happening in the future...* As for item number 3-5, I'm not too sure where I wanna get it done.... :/

I'm getting drawn onto another topic so easily so pardon me. Lemme get back to the main topic of this post. Some of the many reasons I prefer to work becauseeeee

1. I have my own bucks! I control it. I run out of it, it is a problem but my problem.
2. With number 1, I can buy whatever I feel like having but couldn't have back then when I'm still schooling coz I can't keep asking moneh from my parents, rite? It would be too much!
3. Back to item number 1 again, I can buy ANY books I want. RM150 per book is expensive to my parents but not for me. And no, I do not have to ask for permission to buy and settle with a 2nd best book just because the best is the most expensive. LOL!
4. I have my own ride! Back in school..I have to wait for my dad...sux when u depend on others to get ur stuff done....coz they barely go with your plan and the things may get complicated. Though I have to drive, it is quite OK coz I pretty much have my time under my control. I plan. I execute!
5. My parents seem to understand my working hours. They still ask what time I'm coming home. They still wonder why I'm late but I've got a reason to be late; WORK. And work pretty much solves all the wonders. =p See...if I were to go out with a friend and be home at 10pm, my parents would be furious...especially when I left home early in the morning. With work, I can be out of the house for more than 12hours without questions asked. Wonderful but do they know that I have to sit and stare at screen all the time? *siiigghhhhh*
6. I dont' have to iron and wear the same boring uniform 5 days a week...well, wearing uniform is pretty boring but it helps in some ways; you do not have to think of what to wear! Well, now I can wear formal attire to work...downside?I have to do the thinking. EVERYDAY. Lol!
7. I can have my hair long and I can let it down! Damn!School made me tie it up the whole day...even when I don't feel like tying it up.
8. I can wear hair accessories other than black and white in colour. *phhhewwwww* You guys in school, stay monocoloured. K? =p There are soooooo many beautiful hair accessories. Even a purple or green hair tier is enough to complement the outfit you're wearing!
9. I can bring handbags to work! =p
10. I can wear jewelleries! Silver. Gold. Plastic. Beads. Pearls. You name it! I can wear ALL to work! And no one cares about the sizes!
11. I could go on and on and on <*ya know me...* but I decided to stop at 10!>

Well, if you wonder why I do not state "No homework" and "No exams"...I do not hate them. =) And guess what? There is no way to stop doing homework or having exams. Even as a working adult, you still see it and still have to handle it. Just that you may have not realized. ;) You always need the extra reading to find out more about something to get parts of your tasks done..and yes, there are deadlines. Exams? Well, your progress is always monitored by your supervisor! Go figure!

2 Useful Domestic Devices

I had a friend who once asked me where can we find the iron used in department stores; the one you can use to iron while standing up and iron some particular spots only. My respond to her was "I dunno" coz I really do not know but I told her it is pricey. I'm not too sure who asked....hihi Could be Lizzie or Tracy...*hmmm*

Anyway, here it is! (Click on the image to get redirected to the source site. ;) )

Another item I bumped into is the gentle garments washer. Not essential but nice to have especially when 80% of your time is spent at work. :|

Ferrari-shaped Mobile Phone

The creator must be a Ferrari fanatic or simply someone who thinks he wants to make more bucks by using Ferrari to attract buyers..particularly Ferrari fanatics. =p
I bumped into this while reading Moto U9 reviews. (Taken from http://www.product-reviews.net/2008/04/13/ferrari-shaped-mobile-phone/)

How I Describe Tech Arch. Role

If you do not know what Technical Architecture is, ask Mr.Google coz I'm not gonna type much here. Why? Coz I'm not allowed to.

Anyway, to my bunch of friends who has been complaining why I no longer have time to hangout and can't plan to hangout with them...here it is. My role is a Never Ending Story with comes with multiple Series of Unfortunate Events.

With that, do not tell me to clear up my work becoz there is no way I can say I've completed my work. OK?

Thanks.

p/s:I'm not complaining but EXPLAINING.

Some kind of indication

Indicators are meant to indicate something...when used in public places, it is supposed to catch peoples' eyes so that they are alert and aware of what is going on or about to happen.

Here in my new client's site...they have indicators on top of each elevators. However, the lights of the indicators are barely visible. How idiotic. When the elevators reach our level, we'll wonder which elevator so we gotta wait til its door is opened. Imagine the indicator's light is the same colour of the light on the ceiling shining upon the indicator. Well, I guess the case is not too bad with elevators.

Wait til you get onto the road.
You see lotsa idiots being idiotic on the road. LOL!
What are idiots good at? They are great at being idiotic and just that! =p

Common scenario : Do not turn on indicator to change lanes or to turn into a junction.
See....you have the bucks to get a nice ride. Some even costs more than RM100k but then again, I dunno how and idiot manage to earn so much and buy that kind of cars. Idiots must be rich these days. Why bother paying so much for the car if it doesn't come with indicators? I dunno. Only idiots would make such decisions.

Odd Scenario : Turn on hazard lights.
Why? Not coz the car is having trouble but the driver is. He couldn't make up his mind which side of the road he'd like to be on...so he turned on his hazards light and freely change from left to right lane...and from right to left lane every8seconds. How interesting rite?

-Creative Scenario(see the negation sign be for the first word) : Have the indicator light to be red. Why is this idiotic? It doesn't work well..particularly at night. When it is called indicator, it is meant to indicate something but it doesn't do that, it might cause trouble!

People, do use the "machine" you're born with. Incase you do not know where it is, it is in ur head...which is supposed to be on your shoulders not on ur knee caps. LOL! Now I'm adapting some malay crap into my English blog. =p

Domestic Day and the Jam

Firstly, I would like to thank Ms.Jam for making life more complicated that it already is.
About 70% of my life is spent in KL but I never had to go through too many jams in a day just to get to my destination. How nice Ms.Jam.

Recently, I just got posted to another project and yea...new client side.
Can't believe the number of jams i have to go through. Well, this may be perfectly normal for many others but not quite for me. I've been living in KL for a say....70% the years in my life. My school is in KL. I stayin KL and i even hang out in KL. Jam should be in my lifeline? How wrong. Hahahaha

Anyway, I think the jams are causing my headaches lately. Hope I won't continue being like this coz I need to work! I've been leaving home early ever since but doens't help much. :( Ms.Jam, not only u're eating up my time and energy, you are also eating up my money! And you make people pollute the air even more than they would normally do without you!

Under the current situation, I'll have to allocate some hours over the weekends to get my laundry and ironing done. Urgh!

Btw, Mr.Prime Minister, do what you're expected to do and let us have the privilegde to claim for the parking fare. K? The basement parking isn't that great anyway so being able to claim would cool us down a lil. Thanks.

KLCC Banned!

Why it is banned?
It is EVIL.

I've been on-the-bench for gawd knows how many months now.
(I know how many months but don't wanna reveal it here...well.still <5months)

On-the-bench location :
KLCC

What is evil in KLCC?
Kinokuniya, iSetan and Zara.
And just a couple of days ago, City Chain joined the club. Urgh!WHY???? *faint*

Why is it EVIL?
The mannequins in iSetan wouldn't stop showing off her nice clothes.
ZARA kept having nice knitted stuff..URGH
Kinokuniya..Kino is Kino. The smell of the store is already soooo tempting. Need I say more?
You know what the store has rite?? =p
Lastly...City Chain joined the EVIL club a couple of days ago when it has 20% discount on Titus watches!

Someone asked me if I ever get bored of KLCC. My answer has always been and will always be No unless there's an event going on there like New Year celebration, National Day and etc because roads surrounding it will be super congested that it will take me like 1hour to reach home when it is supposed to take me 15minutes max. I've been going to KLCC since it was opened when they had no McDonald's and Pizza Hut...oh!and Sushi King. LOL! When I was in high school, I used to go to the cheap accessories shop named Chamelon..it is still there now and still cheap.Hihihi Other than that? Well, Vincci and the foodcourt. Don't have much bucks as a kid. Why Vincci? Well, I used to be sooo into accessories. Allergic to nickel but those are what I could afford. Sad. LOL. Foodcourt? Well, it is the cheapest and I love their nasi goreng pattaya. Too bad, they have remodeled the whole foodcourt and replaced the stalls with some others. Think the only one which remain is the Milano Pizza. Still the same auntie behind the cashier and same menu. Price? I REALLY can't remember.

Here is something I disagree with KLCC; Everything under the sun.
They've got to rethink this coz they are more like everything under the moon or something.
Everything-under-the-sun tag belongs to One Utama. It REALLY has everything under the sun. Fastfood outlets. Name any. They have it all. Don't believe me? I'll name a few. McD,Burger King, A&W,Carls Jr., Chillis and TGIF. =p

What else under the sun?
Their MPH is the biggest in KL or maybe in Malaysia. TGV and GSC. Parkson and Jusco.

Think I'll stop here.
The sun is too big and too hot that I'd melt.

Anyway, I'm pretty done shopping in KLCC so even if I drop by, I won't buy anything...well, except food. =p

Ruz vs Bex

LOL! Shopaholic madness is ON!

Lemme do a quick check how much I have in common with Bex...in other words,AM I A SHOPAHOLIC? Nah...don't think so..but I shop and I crave for stuff. =p

We both :
- have a wardrobe which would throw up any second.
- have to buy something...or have to have something most of the time.
- loves the feeling of having new stuff.
- the % and SALE signs distracts me ALOT.
- have to have opinions on everything..(reference:my bf =p)
- don't remember we bought something...and have something til someone pointed it out.
- can't remember when we swiped the "magic" card and when were we in "that" particular store.

How I differ :
- NOT a klutz! *rofl*
- I do not exceed my credit card limit..iIm not too sure if I have to use the phrase "not yet" here.
- I buy Bookz!!!!!
- I don't buy dresses.
- I don't go for brands! =p
- I don't have Derek Smeath after me. LOL
- I'm still staying with my parents.
- I do not freeze my card in the ice cube...don't think I ever would.
- I won't sell 70% of my stuff; I would only sell 30% of it...I would also giveaway.
- I don't write much...and I don't have a nice laptop. =p ...Yet to have maybe.
- I have a ride!!!! =p Boooooo!

Am I influenced by the movie?
NO!
Have I read all the books?
OF COURSE I HAVE!
Am I influenced by Becky Bloomwood?
No way!I AM ME. =p
Has the movie done anything to me?
Yes; it made the mannequins talk to me in the malls. It's creepy. Stop it!

Die unhealthy or die in poverty

Why are healthy foods more expensive than unhealthy ones???
Is it just like this in Malaysia or what? Btw, don't tell me it is cheap if i pack up my own food. I'm focusing on the food we buy when we're outside..ya know the ones we have in shopping malls and foodcourts. =p

Easiest comparison is between the white bread and the wheatmeal bread. Letz not go to too many brands and look at Gardenia's. Check out the price. RM2.10 and RM2.90. RM2.90 is for the healthier bread. *siiggghhh* White bread taste better and it is cheaper.

Others? Fried noodles and nasi lemak is cheaper than 6inch sandwich in Subway. Now that Subway has their Sandwich of The Day promo, it is only RM7.50. Still can't beat the RM5 per plate fried noodles and RM2.50 nasi lemak.

Here's the very sad part.
99% Fat free ice cream : ~RM8 - RM10 per scoop/cup.
99% Fat ice cream : RM1 from McDonald's, Burger King and IKEA!

Smoothies from the Smoothies bar taste soooo gewd and I love it. Juices from Juice Works are not bad too...but I can dream on drinking those and only pay RM2 or RM3 per glass. Canned softdrinks won't cost >RM2.50 per can. *siiiggghhhhh* Drink plain water? I do. I bring my 600ml plain water to work everyday but I still love the nice drinks! But due to the "affordable" price, I seldom have it. :\

This post is about the price we have to pay for healthier food. Don't bother telling me to pack my food or go for a jog. K? =p

Lunatic

I had 2 phone calls while I was out today. Both callers told my bestfriend and I don't have anything better to do. Here'z the thing. Both of us didn't feel like driving. We also don't wish to get stuck in the traffic esp when we are going to enter the city during lunch. Besides all that, we wanna save some bucks too. =p

What have we done to be given such remarks? I picked her up from her house and parked at an LRT station quite in the middle of her house and mine. We took the train to KLCC and walked to Low Yat. Are you gonna call us nuts now? Go ahead. We used to walk alot alot when we were back in school. Walking from the school to LRT station is nothing and it is not even far; just about 10-15mins walk. I've managed less than 10mins too...well, itz not far and I used to walk extremely fast. Where else have I walked to? Mmm...

1. From school to a friends house in Kg. Baru.
2. From a friend's house in Damai to Ampang Park..then to my hse..multiple times.
3. From school to my house.
4. From Ampang Point to my house.
5. From an LRT station (can't remember which station) to a friend's house in TTDI.

Furthest is number 3..think it is about 15km and nearest would be number 4.

When I was back in uni, I used to walk to anywhere I wanna go to in the campus coz I've got no car...and the feeder bus sux back then (not too sure about now..). Sometimes my friends and I would go down the apartment to take a walk too...ya know, juz to enjoy the air and chat. =)
Walking helps ease my mind too.

When is the best to walk?
1. Right after it stops raining.
2. At night. Especially when it is windy. =)

What I regret about walking? I dunno how true this is but it makes my legs big. =( I talked about it with my bestfriend...looks like we both have the same opinion. = If I were to mention this to my colleagues, they might not believe it. Ruz walked? Seriously? She could? =p
Yes guys. I walked. Well, I still love walked. LEISURELY. ;) And no..I'm not interested in hiking and the likes. =p Sowie. I mall-hop from time to time too. =p

What I do while I walk? Mmm...if i'm with a friend or two, we'll talk...sometimes sing. =p well...it all depends on the situation; can't juz sing when there's too many passerbyZ. =p Some other times, I would sing to myself...but most of the time, I do alot of thinking along the way.

Anyway, driving could sometimes increase the risk of drivers getting heart attacks or depression. Why? Too many "funny" drivers on the road to just get on our nerves. URGH! some has too much patience that the drive super slowly like that have 50hours per day. Some has no patience that they honk you to move forward even when the car in front of you is static. URGH. How smart. Guyz stop complaining about women drivers. Trust me. There are alot of funny drivers who are males out there. I've encountered many today. IT SUX!!!!!

At times like this, it is a lot better to walk in the sun. Atleast I get to walk and clear my mind. =p
Feel free to argue. I saved my petrol. Best of all, I paid 0bucks for parking today. Muahahaha

Confused Bird

Attempted to add my Twitting Board here...but the bird got a lil confused and got stucked in the header. =p The cause? I think it is my template.

Mmm...I'm quite happy where they put my Twitting Board but it is not showing quite right.
I wondered why and discovered the culprit is actually the title I put for it.

I gave up so now I'm juz gonna grab the code they have to be embedded into other sites.

Here's how I got started.
1. Deleted all the codes related to the widget they added for my Twitting Board earlier.
2. Get back to Twitter to grab the code.
3. There are 2 options; Plain HTML or the one which requires Flash 9. Well, the latter looks good. So I grabbed it.

Didn't turn out good;overlapped with my other widgets..well,maybe I could resize but it won't look as nice anymore....so I gotta opt for the plain HTML one.

4. Picked colour for the Twitting Board to match my blog. Result? Itz on the right! =p

Saved your time..haven't I? =p

eChirping

I dun chirp but Twitter made me. LOL!
I didn't intended to sign up but a colleague told me to subscribe to him.
I was juz there to check out what Twitter is all about and tadaa! I'm now chirping.

Itz a very simply web thingy. It is where you update what you're up to.
Yeah....sometimes updating the status on your IM and Facebook is simply not enough. =p

Another colleague of mine registered juz few seconds after I did and she ended following quite a number of people..like the actors in Heroes. Don't tell me to name them coz I don't really know their names. :

Anyway, to those of you who wonders about this chirping thingy, click to my Twitting board.
Yes. I juz called my Twitter page a Twitting board. Those who are interested to know what their idols are up to should definitely register for an account too. ;)

It is very simple to use so you don't have to be so internet savvy to know how to use it.

Features:
- Updates on what u're currently up to.
- Change your backgroup pic with your fav. pic.
- Keep up-to-date with that your friends are up to...well,not juz friends but anybody (they gotta be on Twitter though. =p)
- Send/Receive messages

If you have any probs chirping, feel free to shout out here. =p

Other features?
Mmm...lemme see. It enables you to integrate ur Twitter onto Facebook, mySpace, Blog and Typepad. Others? They provide HTML codes where you can just paste into your widget/site/....

Twitter on Facebook; checkin' if updates done on Facebook would update my Twitterboard on Twitter.com.

Oh no! Not yet I guess. :

Anyway, since I see my friends updates in the pic above, it shows that updates done on Twitter.com would trigger updates into Twitter on Facebook. So...1st test failed...2nd test passed.

Twitter on Blogspot? You'll know if it works if it appears on the right-pane of this blog and...I plan to put it on Ruz's Bookshelves too. :) Will see if it is relevant of not....

Snow White

What makes enemies better than our friends? Well, they tell the truth. If you stink, they tell you, "You stink!". If they think your hair is ugly, they tell you "Your hair is ugly." What bestfriends can do to outdo enemies is to tell the truth is a better way. It might hurt a lil to get your weakness pointed out but it is good to know than not knowing at all. If you do not know what is wrong, you won't improve. When you don't improve, you go nowhere. Be it in work or school or even life.

I would like to thank a friend who was being truthful when I asked "What do people at work think about me?". He is not my bestfriend and we had only gotten to know each other better recently when we happen to hang out. I told him to answer me and don't worry about mentioning names coz it is not important at all. The point is to know how people sees you and know what your weakness is and work from there. =)

I REALLY despise those who go behind others' back and talk about their weaknesses. If you this that person is not doing something well, go over and talk to him and maybe even suggest how he could improve. If you go to everyone in the entire world and talk bad about this guy, it won't help him at all. You are making it worse for him. He doesn't know what he is not doing right. He thinks he is fine. He thinks you are fine with him. Then you went around telling everybody there's something wrong with him and make him look bad in everyone's eyes. Tell me if this is fair and professional at all.K? If you think it is, put yourself in this person's shoes and see if you answer is still yes. If it is, lemme tell u this; THERE IS SOMETHING VERY WRONG WITH YOU. YOU HAVE NO HEART. YOU ARE PLAIN DUMB and RATIONAL and PROFESSIONAL is not in your vocab. There you have it. I'm being a friend here.

When you look into the mirror, you wanna see yourself. If you see a super model with a clean face, it definitely doesn't help you groom yourself. You won't know you hair is a mess and your face is like the surface of the moon. Would you like your mirror to do that? Or would you like your mirror to show your ugly friend's face instead just so that you can criticize her? =p

When we look into the mirror everyday, we see only our physical. To know how we are with other people and how well we are doing in life, we need a special mirror; Friends and Colleagues. Well, this mirror will only function well if these groups of people functions well. If they don't we are doomed...worst of all, we do not know we are doomed. Mirrors do not show others your flaws. They reflect your flaws in your eyes for you to improve.

B*thin' around doesn't help. Don't believe me? Read the book titled "Rule of Work". There are 10 main rules with some other sub-rules. One of it is "Don't B*tch".

To those who works with me or happen to be around me and think there is something about me that I should improve or change to be a better person, feel free to drop me a mail or nudge me on IM.K? Be a friend. Don't pretend to be one. Thanks.

Lemme stress this again. Talking bad about someone behind their backs won't help a person to improve and it is definitely NOT PROFESSIONAL. SO if you happen be a leader or supervisor, more the reason why you should talk to your subordinates and tell them what they are doing wrong. Yea...be more professional. K? Btw, before you think a person is not doing well, why don't you look into the mirror and analyze why you think this person is not doing well and ask yourself if you have done anything to help this person.

p/s: I'm not angry. I just believe things can be better if we really care. Especially if that someone is a friend.

Honestly, I ignored it many times already but...somehow now,I just did it. Why? Well, I was doing the last question of an online training...when I clicked Next, the thing just hangs there...URGH! Nice meetin' u

This is juz gonna be a short one but I seriously think some ppl really need to know how to handshake. =p

Met a guy over a Townhall Meeting juz now...didn't really get his name but gosh...his did the bonecrusher handshake...ouch! I almost told him "Hey,that's a bit too hard...loosen up a lil bit, will ya?..Plus,I'm a girl...i believe my bones and all are pretty soft compared to urs...and no!I do not have the strength to match urs.TQ."

Well, he's not the first one who crushed my bones. Atleast he's a guy. A colleague of mine, who is a girl...gave me that as well...When I first met her, she totally crushed my bones. OUCH! After sometime knowing her, I told her that she shouldn't shake people's hands like she does. Here's what she said. "Ruz, it wasn't a bonecrusher. It is a firm handshake. A lot of people told me that about my handshake. They said it is firm." *siiggghhhh* Firm won't make ppl like me go OUCH!....

I've also met ppl who gave handshakes like a deadfish. Gosh! If you're not interested to shake hands, then don't! Keep your hands by your sides. Smile =) and juz acknowledge that person. End of story. Urgh....

Both bonecrushers and deadfishes should mate up to have a nice handshake; FIRM.

Mirror Image

Did a lil personality quiz online...well,juz for fun. It was shared by a fwen; http://www.quizbox.com/personality/test82.aspx

The results :

Your view on yourself:

Other people find you very interesting, but you are really hiding your true self. Your friends love you because you are a good listener. They'll probably still love you if you learn to be yourself with them.

Mm...how is this possible? I don't hide...well,maybe I hide my sarcasm and my not-interested face sometimes.Muahaha

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:

You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.

Absolutely true. Good-looking people are just like trophies...they juz make a good display but they barely serve any other purpose except collecting dust. No offense but brains and capabilities are crucial...oh.yeah!Cleanliness too...and loyalty..and honesty...i could go on and on and on..so i better put a capital fullstop here. :p

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:

You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person. =)

The seriousness of your love:

You like to flirt and behave seductively. The opposite sex finds this very attractive, and that's why you'll always have admirers hanging off your arms. But how serious are you about choosing someone to be in a relationship with?

Ooopps! But anyway, no admirers. SERIOUSLY. How serious am I? On the rank of 1 to 10...My pick is 11. VERY SERIOUS. =p

Your views on education

Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.

=) I need buckz...anybody wanna sponsor? I wanna go to Carnegie Mellon...plzzzzz I wanna do their MBA together with Masters in IT. Would be superb! *siigghhh* I WANNA GO!

The right job for you:

You have plenty of dream jobs but have little chance of doing any of them if you don't focus on something in particular. You need to choose something and go for it to be happy and achieve success.

Very true. Keywords : Management, Database, Test, Music, Writing, Business, Baking..........

How do you view success:

You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don't succeed. Don't give up when you haven't yet even started! Be courageous.

I try my very best to avoid failure. I see cause and effects. I know what I don't wanna see and go through. Well, be courageous? Mmm..there are times when I would do things you don't think I'd ever do but when I feel like doing it...I'll juz do it...so don't be surprised...and don't tell me I didn't warn u. =p

What are you most afraid of:

You are concerned about your image and the way others see you. This means that you try very hard to be accepted by other people. It's time for you to believe in who you are, not what you wear.

Gotta feel comfortable and look fine. I can juz not be pretty but I wanna look presentable. Messy is not in my vocab...and I dun want it to be a synonym to me...I mayb try to be accepted but if I'm not I could be on my own; Eagles fly solo...remember? ;)

Who is your true self:

You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.

Couldn't agree less.

Don't ask me why I bother answering such quizes..it could be becoz I'm bored or I'm too lazy to do anything techy and serious...so here'z another one..itz pretty close to 100% true. Did it at http://www.quizbox.com/personality/test81.aspx

Here is the analysis: (Ouch!)

  1. You've got great self-confidence and you're full of charm. Most guys who get to know you will be attracted to you. You are far from sweet and proper; your intriguing personality fascinates them. Most guys find it easy to fall for a girl like you. (LIAR!)
  2. You really care about other people's feelings and are quite serious about the issues that affect your life. You are sincere, and your concern for the well-being of others makes many people want to be your friend. (I'm a REAL softie inside...I REALLY AM.)
  3. You are a bright, cheerful and bubbly person. You are thoughtful and considerate, and like to have fun. Everybody feels comfortable around you because of your pleasant nature. When you walk into a room, people's eyes are likely to be drawn to you because of your charm.( Mm...charm?Bright?Mmm...If itz REALLY true, itz nice. )
  4. Your peers think of you as a fun person, but sometimes you can be a little irresponsible. You can be somewhat childish, and can try to ignore the fact that you will one day need to really grow up and be a mature adult! Perhaps you could start reading good books; they might help you look at the world in a different light. You do want to be taken seriously, right? (Started reading SERIOUS books already.)
  5. Your boyfriend thinks that you are a real doll but this is not a totally positive thing. Sometimes you can be a bit too sweet, and come across as being helpless. If you're like this too frequently, your boyfriend and other people are likely to get tired of you having to rely on them all the time. *siigghhh*
You desire a love that will last forever. You are quite serious about finding this type of love, and that's why you think carefully about the men that you meet before deciding whether you could really love them. You don't just develop a crush on someone overnight: you look at a person's personality and other aspects of their life before deciding to form an attachment. If a guy doesn't meet your expectations, you would rather be alone. Your love has to be perfect. Be careful though, you could be missing out on some worthy relationships because your standards are so high. Mmm...... *sigh*

You are always cheerful and charming. You never get too serious with people when they're around, but when you are alone, you think carefully about what they have said. That's because you don't want anyone to see you being too somber. Your personality means you have a lot of friends and you are often the center of attention. Many people who fall into this category become artists and movie stars, perhaps fame could be yours in the future as well.

Scissors Paper Stone and a Candle?

I've been in KLCC since Dec 12, 2008. See if there will be anything coming in by end of April. Yes. I said April. LOL. What have I done here so far? Mmm...I did quite a number of trainings online. I came up with a book blog after a month. I.....mmmmm can't really recall. =p

Anyhow, it is time to cut down ALL unnecessary expenses. I quit shopping. So no more books, perfumes, accessories, clothes, handbags, CDs and gawd knows what else. Everyday I still hafta spend atleast 10bucks. *siiiggghhh* 7bucks for parking...the rest on food. For the past 2 weeks, I've spent less than 5bucks for lunch. However, this week is pretty impossible. Yesterday, my colleague told me to accompany her for lunch coz she wasn't feeling very well and we had lunch with a manager and 2 other people. Today, 2 of my colleagues are coming over to KLCC so expect to spend on lunch....and there goes my plan to eat light food. *siiiggghhhh*

Today's my brother's bday...he wanted a body brush...of all things eh? Then last nite he told me to get it as his bday present...well, itz not that expensive but I'm cutting down all that i could...so i guess i'll see how... :|

Anything nice coming up soon? Well, it depends. I've got quite a few stuff in my hands which IF i get it done as expected i can earn some bucks and settle my electone loan with my dad and of coz my credit card bill. LOL. Another thing is....mmm a secret...more like a surprise maybe...well,it will be nice IF it really happens. No worries. Will definitely broadcast it when it happens. ;) For those who knows about it, keep it low coz i dunno when it will happen; scheduling issues. Not work related though. ;)

I'm supposed to be in a mid of an online training now but i dun feel like reading too much techy stuff. I wanted to update my other blog but i'm not too sure i can crack out gewd sentences and ideas with this current mood im in. Anyhow, i think the topic would be "Ebooks vs Physical Books". Could blab about it anytime...just prefer to do it in a better mood to ensure better I have more good points and better sentence construction. ;)

MIA

Can't recall when was the last time I updated this; was extremely bz after the last post. When I was no longer bz, I guess I sorta forgot I've got a space 'ere.Hihi Anyway, I started another blog solely for books. Call me nerd if you wish but that word isn't a real word...More like a slang incase you haven't know. =p

Here I am. Back to where I started blogging just that this time, this space of mine will be opened to all. Deep down, I'm still quite unsure if it should be publicly informed...by public I meant my bunch of friendz out there. My bookblog is more than public. LOL. Itz opened to all Booklovers and if you're not one, you can still drop by. Who knows you might fall in love with books too. ;)

I've juz changed the template of this blog with a hope it could accomodate more stuff. Stuff I've got on my list are :

1. Wishlist
A list of stuff i'd love to have *hint hint*

2. Friendz' Blogz
This will be under the Blogroll section on the right pane.

3. New Visitor Counter
Need a new one to match this new template and of coz to start new. ;)

4. Calendar
Maybe one which could highlight which date contains which post and stuff...

5. QuickLinks
To save time from typing out sites I normally visit.

6. Favourite Websites
Sites I like to go to...what's the difference between this and item no. 5? Well, this list contains stuff I don't normally click to...as in not something I visit on daily basis. ;) If i were to dump all under item no. 5, item no.5 will be super lengthy..so NO. =p

7. Tag Clouds
Found 'da code to do it but if I'm too lazy, I'll juz settle with the Label widget which comes with Blogger.

8. Followers..
Juz for the fun of it. =p

9. Blog-Related
List of sites related to blog stuff like tips and tricks, templates and etc.

OUCH! So many stuff....maybe I'll need to rethink some stuff IF it makes my space here looks so messy. Anyway, let'z juz hope I could keep things coming in.

You might ask why don't I just have one blog and dump everything in. Well, here's my reason. BookBlog is solely for BOOKS and Books-related matters only and itz super public. I usually dump my links to it wherever I feel appropriate. As for this one, it is still pretty discreet. Think only 2 ppl knows about this unless some of you guyz happen to stumble upon this one...then that's a different story. Well, this is the area where I blab about stuff...stuff which are personal, stuff which are stuck in my head or heart juz coz sometimes Idon't wanna argue too much or maybe it is just not too appropriate to be spoken out loud. Despite being a pretty loud person, I swear I'm shy in some ways. *looks down onto the ground* Some stuff I "scribble" here are for myself btu anyway,if you wanna read and have some funny thoughts..maybe you could just keep it to yourself. Well, you get here on your own...don't u? =p

Peace.
