Oh so colourful!

I sometimes view the analytics of my blog..ya know..just for the fun of it. Well, why blog if it isn't fun? :p
If i could paint the week, I'll have to pick solemn colours as the week started with sickness. Was in bed on Monday and Tuesday. When I got back to work Wednesday onwards, the week simple suck....don't bother asking me why coz I don't wanna revisit the week. Hope the solemness won't linger til next week.

In the virtual world..or rather my blog, it seems to be preffy colourful. I've seen fractions of visitors' origins but maybe this the the first time I've seen this many fractions and of coz COLOURS! *Can't help wondering if they will run out of colours if there are more countries popping out*

Why Is My Blackberry slow?

I've gotten my Blackberry Bold early this year from my parents. Recently, after much thought I reactivated the Blackberry Plan and FINALLY upgraded from Prepaid to Postpaid service. (After 9years that is...they should pay me for loyalty. =p)

Since Monday, my phone has been oddly slow. Never happened before and it is getting very annoying so thank you to Mr.Google, he saved my temper.

Apparently, we need to clear cache. LOL!
The normal solution is always restart the phone and of course (the most popular solution) re-insert the battery. Doing those will help most of the the time but it is not so great when do not really know what is going on in the system (as in the root cause of the problem). Bear with me a lil while if you find this very techy.

All I did was to hold the Alt key and press LGLG. The phone event log will then be displayed. I wished I could attach what is looks like but I'm not quite sure if BB allows printscreen. Will find out later. Tap on the BB key and choose the option to clear the log and VIOLA! System back to normal....ok...phone back to normal. =p

Many may be super expert in BB navigation and administration but I'm quite a newbie. Still exploring and testing its' capabilities. So far. It is kewl! ;) Gotta thank my parents again!

Btw, to reboot : Alt+Cap+Del ;) Will post more when I find out more on BB tips and tricks!

Confused Bird

Attempted to add my Twitting Board here...but the bird got a lil confused and got stucked in the header. =p The cause? I think it is my template.

Mmm...I'm quite happy where they put my Twitting Board but it is not showing quite right.
I wondered why and discovered the culprit is actually the title I put for it.


I gave up so now I'm juz gonna grab the code they have to be embedded into other sites.

Here's how I got started.
1. Deleted all the codes related to the widget they added for my Twitting Board earlier.
2. Get back to Twitter to grab the code.
3. There are 2 options; Plain HTML or the one which requires Flash 9. Well, the latter looks good. So I grabbed it.

Didn't turn out good;overlapped with my other widgets..well,maybe I could resize but it won't look as nice anymore....so I gotta opt for the plain HTML one.

4. Picked colour for the Twitting Board to match my blog. Result? Itz on the right! =p

I dun chirp but Twitter made me. LOL!
I didn't intended to sign up but a colleague told me to subscribe to him.
I was juz there to check out what Twitter is all about and tadaa! I'm now chirping.

Itz a very simply web thingy. It is where you update what you're up to.
Yeah....sometimes updating the status on your IM and Facebook is simply not enough. =p

Another colleague of mine registered juz few seconds after I did and she ended following quite a number of people..like the actors in Heroes. Don't tell me to name them coz I don't really know their names. :

Yes. I juz called my Twitter page a Twitting board. Those who are interested to know what their idols are up to should definitely register for an account too. ;)

It is very simple to use so you don't have to be so internet savvy to know how to use it.

Features:
- Updates on what u're currently up to.
- Change your backgroup pic with your fav. pic.
- Keep up-to-date with that your friends are up to...well,not juz friends but anybody (they gotta be on Twitter though. =p)
- Send/Receive messages

Mmm...lemme see. It enables you to integrate ur Twitter onto Facebook, mySpace, Blog and Typepad. Others? They provide HTML codes where you can just paste into your widget/site/....

Twitter on Facebook; checkin' if updates done on Facebook would update my Twitterboard on Twitter.com.



Oh no! Not yet I guess. :

Anyway, since I see my friends updates in the pic above, it shows that updates done on Twitter.com would trigger updates into Twitter on Facebook. So...1st test failed...2nd test passed.

Twitter on Blogspot? You'll know if it works if it appears on the right-pane of this blog and...I plan to put it on Ruz's Bookshelves too. :) Will see if it is relevant of not....
